With 250 people in attendence, including over fifty tech companies from Australia, investors, media and representatives from the UK tech scene, this was a huge success in presenting the opportunities available in Australia.
Throughout the event a range of Australian wine and beer was served. Along with Anzac biscuits, meat pies, pavlova and lamingtons, adding to the promotion of a quintessential Australian reception.
The Australian High Commissioner, The Hon Alexander Downer, AC, welcomed guests to Australia House. The keynote was powerful and inspiring, spoken by Michael Harte, Barclay's Chief Technology Officer.
