Medical practitioners who have suitable qualifications and experience working in the UK or Ireland can submit an expression of interest (EOI) to work for WA Health via the IWSB medical EOI portal by following these simple steps.
1. Prepare an up to date curriculum vitae. A CV template can be downloaded by clicking here.
2. Register your details in MedJobsWA to receive email alerts when positions you have selected are advertised.
3. Submit your expression of interest via the IWSB medical EOI portal.
By submitting an EOI, your details will be made available to WA Health recruiters who are looking for international medical practitioners to fill in-demand and specialised workforce shortfalls. Recruiters may contact candidates of interest to discuss employment opportunities however they are under no obligation to do so.
It is important to note that this is an expression of interest to work in WA Health and not a job application. You should still apply for suitable positions via the WA Health Jobs Board when they are advertised.
Information on how to register as a medical practitioner in Australia can be found on the Australian Medical Council and the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency/Medical Board of Australia websites.
All internationally qualifed health professionals will require an appropriate visa to work in Australia. For further information on visas, go to Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA) website.
