EOI for beachfront development opportunities in Perth, Western Australia

A premium commercial and retail development opportunity has arisen for a beachfront development in Perth, Western Australia.
The north and south beachfront development sites incorporate 4,698 square metres of prime beachfront land that will set a new Australian benchmark for community place making in a coastal environment.
Scarborough Beach is set to become one of Australia’s most iconic coastal destinations. A $100 million urban renewal project will provide a mix of public open spaces, pedestrian promenades, transit hub, pool, new recreational facilities and commercial development opportunities.
The Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) is now calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from developers to design, construct and deliver a vibrant commercial and retail precinct around Scarborough beachfront in Perth, Western Australia.
The north and south beachfront development sites incorporate 4,698 square metres of prime land with great potential for high quality retail and food and beverage offerings, cultural and civic spaces.
The Scarborough redevelopment will be complete by early 2018, boasting new facilities, pedestrian promenades and more. MRA is seeking development of the sites to contribute to the improved public realm of Scarborough’s foreshore.
