The Frankfurt office, which was established under the leadership of Agent General John Langoulant, has become a key platform for expanding Western Australia’s presence in Europe. The official opening was celebrated with an exclusive cocktail reception attended by 30 high-level business representatives. Guests included key stakeholders from across critical industries, as well as representatives from Australian federal and state trade and investment agencies. The event provided an important platform for strengthening relationships with industry leaders and further advancing collaboration between Western Australia and Germany.

The reception drew interest from notable companies, including BASF, BioNTech, AMG Lithium, as well as Fraport, the operator of Frankfurt Airport and several airports worldwide. These companies are leading players in sectors that align with Western Australia’s strategic growth areas, and their presence at the event underscores the significance of ITWA Frankfurt as a bridge between Western Australian and German businesses.

The ITWA Frankfurt office is set to play a vital role in fostering further trade and investment opportunities between the two regions. By facilitating connections and supporting business partnerships, the office will help drive economic growth and strengthen Western Australia’s profile in Europe.
